Did I mention that the sexual intimacy topic feels off? Yes? Can't repeat that often enough. Sex is a topic for about every three pages? It might be part of Astarion, but he. Doesn't. Like. That. And there are clearly scenes in which he wouldn't initiate sexual intimacy AT ALL.

There are good parts, but also bad parts and I don't know what I should think about them by now. Astarion's wit is nicely restored in this book but some scenes are ... eh? Ehh? Well, the memories of him as a child are new, in general, and I do enjoy them a lot! What I absolutely DO NOT enjoy: there aren't chapters. NO. CHAPTERS. YAAAAAAH!
