Criminals with animal heads? Sounds like the cave bear episode of Hannibal. The winter setting gives me christmas vibes! And you clearly can see it's a newer book ... because in the german edition they use gender-correct language like KollegInnen. Can't someone find a better way to express this? It's annoying and distracts me, ugh.
