For someone who supposed to be brilliant and strategic, the heroine choices are poorly thought out and out of impulse. I know 17 year olds who made better decision.

It really pains me reading of the fate of the three seasons. What kind of person would ever treat a person like a beast? To be honest I'm hesitating continuing on for those non consensual sexual abuse and on and off-page. I hope the author had given us a warning about this. The only reason I still not dnf because I know this is HE and those beast would be punished accordingly.

As much I love the first, I also enjoy the character of Dilys Merymidion. He's not usually the type of MMC I'm looking for but I'm loving him so far. Maybe my taste in fictional men would somehow be diverse from day on out.

What's my take so far? I actually enjoy the plot kahit often cringe yung batuhan ng dialogue. Para lahat ng characters pare-parehong magsalita, generic din noong personality nila.

And the narration too in-the-nose. Halos lahat parang sinabi na ni author sa umpisa. Mas maganda sana kung lagyan niya ng konting sublety. Yung para bang may sense of mystery.

Grief becomes cheap when main characters have sex right after a friend dies. Seriously? Is anyone supposed to be horny during their friend’s wake? I get that this is dark romantasy, but this is in poor taste.

This is kind of unique in its own way. I’m starting to like this book. It’s a refresher from congested paranormal romance tropes. Unique, a little awkward but funny and adorable, never lust-driven 😬. The chemistry is spot-on. I almost feel it, until the phlegm- like blood color and the “knot” part pull me out. Adorable, just not lustful.

All in all, I’m loving it so far. I’ll see how it goes.

I’m honestly offended. We’re not that old. Telephone signs were barely disappearing in the early 2000s. Yes, we’re at that age, but come on, not ancient. At least we had a childhood without ChatGPT, socmed, or being glued to Wi-Fi 24/7. We actually lived before everything went permanently online. I miss that era .

Dnf -- This book contains content that goes against my faith, so I’ve decided to stop reading.

Okay I am at 10% and still dont see anything worthwhile to see. The excitement is down the drain.

Nothing infuriates me more than Vhalla being such an idiot for a smart woman. She is so reckless.
