A couple things I’ve noticed that I haven’t liked so far (just jotting these down so I remember):
1. Noah only noticing Mia once she was wearing makeup and her contacts instead of glasses… interesting choice
2. Noah trying to “lighten the mood” after Mathias came out to him by saying “you don’t like me right?” mmm… okay

The book is finally picking up a bit for me but still not sure how I’m feeling about it

“I am haunted by you… I demand your attention and I desire your affection”

I’m not ready for this book to be over 😭

I didn’t realize how bad the assault scene would trigger me so taking a break for the night

ignore all the books I just marked as read, I was adding to my dnf shelf 🤧

ugh this entire book is so heartwarming I’m already dreading it being over (catch me rereading this)

Okay I just finished chapter 14 and I realized that this author uses a lot of sentences like “not this, but this…” and it feels like they are trying to be very poetic about their writing but it’s too much. In just the last 3-4 pages of this chapter, the author used the “not this, but this” bit 7 times and it’s making it difficult to focus on what’s actually happening.
