50% in to the book & many of the threads which had been woven from the start are beautifully coming together. The pace has picked up, as too the sense of urgency & we’ve found out more backstory of many of our characters. The advanced growth of our MC’s is also a wonderful addition, Abasio is now more like a 30+ yr old man which is great to read.

Abasio’s journey has progressed in time, if not in location, however, it is still unfolding & our characters around him are becoming more curious by the chapter. We are finding out more about pre-Abasio’s world & what tore it apart; more chapters to come.

Abasio, on his journey, has been slow but not dull. There are so many sights to see & for a young lad fresh from the farm, there are many lessons to learn. The world-building has just (beautifully) begun.

End of Book Four! I am slack, I didn't update Book Two or Book Three, well not so much as slack; I couldn't put the book compilation book down long enough to write up my thoughts on the individual books encompassed in the whole. I am completely in love with these characters. Sure, yes, I feel a little more could be done with them all at the end; I will have to see what Mstr of Hounds brings us. See what unfolds. <3

End of Book One! I am very excited by this book series already; the characters are becoming well written, so too the location, & the extension of the world. I am saddened by the massive time jump into the future from the previous series (Lion Mistress); however I know that to make the story work with our lead (no spoilers), we need to do so. I'd like to have a little catchup though; a "Where are they now", so far 0.

Near End of Book Three. I could NOT stop to write up my thoughts from Book One & Two; I had to keep reading, I loved these characters & the story arc!! Sure, there was a quiet moment or 2, & their romance was a little subdued *wink*; but their relationship was more about growth & development as a unit together and family.
Ithric & Favian though, haha! Honestly poor Kath, lol :)

End of Epilogue. 5/5 Will read again. I love the story, I love the characters, I love the world-building. This is such an incredible series and it's one that I just kept on reading & reading & reading. My heart just loves these books!

End of Book Four. I just can. not. not. even. yup. *breathe*
Ok, so now my mini-drama is done, what an amazing ending! I was thrilled with how it ended, a little rushed; but wonderfully written. I love the world-building and the character-building!! I love how RA Steffan writes, it's honest to goodness joy to read their works!! What a ride!!

End of Book Three. I don't know how much to write without even alluding to spoilers; so let's start with the writing style - amazing, I was along for the ride, it was intense!! I had nowhere to go except for following our characters and that is because RA Steffan writes so amazingly well; it's such a pleasure to read their books! The character development is in line with the timeline & the world is evolving !! :D

End of Book Two. Wow! Storyline A, (which I personally feel is a B Roll) has really amped up and we've had some really traumatic moments in this book; from this, though we've had some amazing team players step up and create strong support roles. The relationship writing is amazing, I completely love & adore the relationships that are in the series & book 2 really knitted them together further. Book Three begins!

End of Book One. I remember now what an amazing character journey we begin on and how beautifully written our characters are. I cannot speak on gender or sexual differences other than my own; but what I do feel from these books is love, love between our characters and love of the Author for the characters, and love for the story that is being told; it's beautiful, looking towards book 2.

End of Chapter Eight. Oh my goodness!! So much fun & craziness already; Maxwell, Maxwell, Maxwell!! & We can't forget Markham either, hahaha! And so far, we're shaking things up a wee bit and some of our old faves are making a strong return. As always with Ms Taylor, it's a clean read - so fun for all ages :) Best brush up with book 14 before if you have it for some of the references. :)

End of Chapter Twenty-One. We're getting near the end of this book & we're bringing more friends; and foes into the arc. It's fun & intense. It's a good fast pace and we're learning more about Nigellus' relationships and how he relates to those around him. Also, we've had some more info on Edward that I do wonder a little on who he really is ... Will we have a story about him? I do hope so!!!

End of Chapter Thirteen. I am really enjoying this book. I am loving the interactions between the characters and certainly the chemistry. I am grateful that the writing has had the pace picked up; and the internal monologues have been (for the most part) spread out, and more world building conversations have been happening. All up; so far I'm 5/5. Also. Wings. <3 Wings.

End of Book Three. :D Ok, this is definitely a 4 star series for me; had we more conversations with the characters, or more history; or more relationship moments; it would be a solid 5. As it is; the writing is wonderful, the world is beautiful and so far we're learning more about these 2 characters together than we have previously. A solid 4 overall. On to the next series! (I'd love a Book Four though!!)

End of Book Two. Another strong book in the series, terrific writing, strong characters; and fantastically we get some history here too! What joy :) Again though I'm finding we're too much in Len's head and less in the world around him. Engage with the world, engage with Alby, learn about history; etc. The writing is so beautiful & powerful and I can't wait to continue! Onwards to Book Three. :D

End of Book One. If I was to review it fully now, it would be a 4. As with all the books so far, RA's voice is strong & clear, with such a beautiful quality that I am drawn into their worldbuilding and I'm excited by it. But, I'd love to see more stories between the characters, we're seeing some now, but, I do want more :) Because I love the world & characters which I'm currently reading.

End of Book Three. I can't say more clearly that I really enjoy RA's writing; their style is excellent, something I can cozy into. Do I wish I had some more "accent" on Rans, or Leonides? sure; but their tone is still strong. However. Vonnie. we have a lot of recycled monologues between herself over the 3 books, and from even Z's thoughts. & her magic should be further developed by now. We'll end B4 with needing more

End of Book Two. I do really enjoy the writing style & the world building & character development; what I am missing is the relationship building, especially when a Demon of Fate has been involved. I feel that whilst Vonnie's inner monologue does give us so much weight & vulnerability; and it's wonderful we're dealing with a 30yr old single Mum, the pace isn't as fast as I'd have hoped by this stage.

End of Book One. I am really enjoying the character development of Vonnie, certainly her 'adultness', her ability to absorb what is happening to her and just get on with it. I fear we're still "too much in prot's head" space though, perhaps saving the word count to explore where Z has been, or Leo's past? The writing however is enjoyable & comments are based on quant, not qual. Where's Tink? haha!! <3

End of Book Six.
I am ending this on a 4.5, rounded up because all in all; the good points far outclassed the bad; and even those moments where I was worried about the book's pacing or the writing or the direction; the overall experience was a positive one. Could some characters be utilised more? Yes, but at what cost? What do you remove???

End of Book Five.
And I thought the end of book Four was Wow! The end of Book Five was definitely right where I want to be heading into book Six. We're grouping into our familial units and Zorah is coming into her own. Still too much in her own head; but it has been only a 'few weeks' and you can't change a lifetime of learned behaviours on a moment.

End of Book Four.
Finally getting into more of the 'spoilery' territory of the conflicts and stories; the why, the who, the where, though we're still no closer as to the motives of some. With the closure of Book Four we do however have a big reveal and it is indeed spicy!!

End of Book Three.
Without trying to write out spoilers; our wanton heroine is more brazen in some scenes, yet decidedly ... frustrating in others. Also the Couples scenes have cooled right off; whilst they are 'there', they are cut away from, or ended quite quickly it's almost like another writer; or a censor has stepped in. Overall a solid 4, but more work needed in book 4.

End of Book Two.
The story is excellent & the characters are enjoyable. We are moving into more of the world and exploring other characters. There is a lot of world-building, and a lot of world narration; discussing what is happening in the world and the scenery. I enjoy it, but it may not be as action-packed for others. We meet a cat!! Yes!!

End of Book One and I am enjoying it so far, I am looking forward to where we are going with Book 2.
So far there is intrigue, lust, chaos, mayhem; but also good writing & funny quips, and bad puns. Not sure what part of England our Vampire is supposed to be from, is accent is a little wobbly; but all is forgiven as the writer gets a few mannerisms "square on".
I'm in for the remainder so far!

I have finished 'Demonology' and am now part way into 'Twilight', and these moments I am having with these characters are wonderful; they are touching, they are honest; raw; fragile. They answer some questions, raise others; but the moments I am having with these characters are quite special.

I'm learning more here than I did in 11 & 13 combined so far.

I am quite enjoying this so far, eagerly awaiting my complete read through, getting quite anxious about the characters and how a relationship will resolve. I'm quite torn, the adult in me wants 1 solution whilst the child, quite another. I'm not focused on the supernatural element, but more so the natural element at this point in the book. Well done Kelly Armstrong, thank you.
