I'm really enjoying this so far.

This book was not for me.

It is not getting better. I can't stand Lily or Nick/Strick. They both make a big mountain out of a molehill. I don't want them to get together.

I can't wait to finish this. Its ridiculous. The author she is obsessed with just so happens to move into her apartment block? The phrases are driving me a bit mad. 'She bit her lip', 'whole ass wife' etc. I hope it gets better.

Im reading this for my book club. Im really not a fan of the style of writing "lonely-ass single child". Not a fan x

John is so inspirational but Dottie? Wow! I want to be like Dottie x

I'm loving this book so much. Its truly shocking how little was known in the 1980s. It was a surprise to read that Oliver Sacks, specialist in Tourettes wrote Awakenings. I haven't read it but watched the movie with Robin Williams that was inspired by it and always found it very moving.

I absolutely loved the film. I laughed, cried but most of all was so in awe of how inspirational John is. I feel the same way about the book. It's heartbreaking to read how John feels when he tics but cant do anything about it. "One word you mustn't say is..." "Granny c**t. C**t granny".

What an absolutely gorgeous story. I love the concept of Flo translating the book from Japanese and the reader being able to read the story. When Flo doubted herself and questioned whether to continue, I was taken out of the story, I just wanted to tell her to carry on. What a great idea x

I'm reading this as part of my book club. Im loving it so far. Frog and Sidekick Frog 🐸. I cant wait to see what happens next x

I read this as I wanted to see how it compares to the most recent performance, with Andrew Scott playing every part. It's lovely to see that it's very similar x

This isn't the kind of book I'd usually pick up. I'm quite enjoying it so far.

I'm not sure what I thought of this book really. I liked how Harley navigated some really difficult things and the friendships but I think maybe I was hoping for a bit more.

I initially wasn't sure about this book. I found it quite slow at the start. As it's going on, I'm liking it more. I really feel for Harvey and the tough life he's had. It made me tear up when he said "I do have a nice smile".
