I’m currently loving this so so much.

Quite weird and taking an uncanny and barbaric turn of events but I guess that’s the primary purpose of the author perhaps.

Hit chapter 3 currently and really interesting to read so far. It’s quite your typical weird girl lit fic, with the typical ottessa-esque elements (usually eerie, weird, quirky, murky). It’s all really gory to read at times and sometimes enlightening and interesting to hear the main protagonists opinions on things.

Just loving it

Elizabeth Strout- my ultimate savior 🙈🥹my second booker prize read this year. High expectations for this 🤞🏻

Obsessed with the characters and plot of this currently! A real page turner

God it’s unbelievably sad, witty, beautiful. CANT STOP READING ITTT

REALLY REALLY ENJOYING IT SO FAR!!! So wholesome, heartbreaking, soul-stirring

Really really enjoying it so far. I love the whole host of quirky and uniquely different characters, the settings, the imagery. It’s all so savory, so indulging to sink my teeth into. The little subplots of romance, intrigue, mystery; it’s all very gripping. It makes me feel as if I’m transplanted into a whole new Asian world, a luxurious island of its own drama, if you will.

Really enjoying this drama filled, rich people escapades enriching soap opera-esque book by the author of crazy rich Asians. Really loving the gripping writing style, reads like a gossip magazine, you’re Gossip girl meets bridgerton esque in a book. It’s totally crazy rich Asians coded, I’m absolutely loving it. Love the different characters being introduced to us. Can’t wait to continue reading this :))

Really enjoying it so far 😜
