I deeply hated his arrogance and condescension in the other book and here he is a dear supporter who just wants to take away Waylon's responsibilities. I like this Silas but I would like him more if I hadn't seen how he treated Rowe in book one

I think this is a "it's not the book, it's me", first the D/S thing didn't fit for me, the fact that they became boss/employee in one day, roommates, therapeutic support in record time makes me think in a dnf ahead.

Sam has good intentions and as he is not a healthcare professional I can even understand his incisive behavior towards Worthy. But as a professional, I can't help but point out that his behavior can be invasive with a thousand solutions and corrections for Worthy's life, and the guys talking to Worthy about his financial life and the murder of his mother without the slightest care, thats not okay

I simply don't see the point in comparing their friendship every single time, as well as repeating in all the books that Marcus and Corb kissed and it was 100% platonic, cmon

Idk, reading all the books in sequence, this last one I'm almost dnf, I went from looking at the four guys' friendship as something incredible to a disproportionate relationship, it's almost as if each MC had to fight for one of the Vers and prove that they are good enough but never the other way around.

I feel like all the love I had for Marcus is slowly ending in this book. the relationship is increasingly distant from found family and approaching an unhealthy codependency

it seems to be a common mistake that most people in other continents keep misunderstanding but in brazil we speak portuguese not spanish
