Marcus and Corb's friendship doesn't work for me here, the same subject is talked about in all the books: I want to make sure you guys are just friends. Like, they wanted readers to also question this all the time??? I simply don't see the point in comparing their friendship every single time, as well as repeating in all the books that Marcus and Corb kissed and it was 100% platonic, cmon

Idk, reading all the books in sequence, this last one I'm almost dnf, I went from looking at the four guys' friendship as something incredible to a disproportionate relationship, it's almost as if each MC had to fight for one of the Vers and prove that they are good enough but never the other way around.
