I don't know about this story though. Finley feels very passive as her aunts and mom talk. And Colin breaking up with her out of nowhere ... something isn't sitting right. Feels a bit like the couple of books before Saint Anything

The description of Ben matches so closely with my MMC. This is gonna take me some separation (unless this Ben isn't half as cocky as my Carter lol)

Chapter 9 was confusing. Does Lily want to belong or not? She mentioned her past so often but it flipflopped constantly between wanting to belong and not wanting to get attached. And it wouldn't be so bad if it didn't change with every word uttered by a character.

Given there's references to Salt'n'Pepa ('92), Backstreet Boys ('95 earliest, '97 solid fame) and a Nokia that can be closed (??? Mobiles were popular from like 2000, but there were absolute bricks in the early nineties, don't remember them being Nokia though) I'd love to know when in the 1990's this book was set.

Solved my issue and got the book on a different platform.

Want expecting this to feel like 4 mini stories stuck together. Don't need the repetition of who is who from the start of part 2.

But my more pressing concern: Gina is worried Max will cheat but she's already kissed Ben? We don't like hypocrisy in these here parts

I was enjoying this book, I got free with the S&S email sign up. But OMG the glose pages are virtually unreadable. If you're lucky, a chapter loads. I managed to get through the first 4 but have waited for loading more than I've read, which is a huge disservice to the story which so far feels like a cosy romcom

Ahhhh, I've been ignoring the typos (a line edit would have gone down a treat) but you can see one in a copy paste and it's down to me. Causal instead of casual. Causal means something very different to the context in this particular usage

Enjoying it so far but there's a couple of lines in this chapter I don't quite understand. Putting it down to regional dialect. Impressed someone can snort to a point they lose their balance!
