Paused at chapter 15. I really don’t like the narrator and it makes it hard to care about the story when he’s speaking it.

I’m towards the end of April, about 15% of the way into the book. So far this reads as a published diary. For the title literally being “What I ate in one year” there’s a lot of “I can’t remember” or “I do not recall” going on. A lot of what he has had is wine but rarely specifies what type other than red or white.

Putting on hold because my library hold expired, also I was a bit bored.

Did not like the narrator change, especially listening to it right after the first book. Will eventually get back to when I forgot how the original narrator sounded.

Can’t stand the narrator, especially the voices he does for dragons. On hold so I can read the paperback eventually

Listening to the audiobook which is 26 hours long, I’m ten hours in and it’s just a little boring so I’ll eventually switch to paper back and see if I like that better, so for now (6/29/25) it’s on hold
