Pleasantly entertained thusfar. I like the wit and banter. The writing is fast paced and smart.

This books kicks you in the gut and than you need to read on hoping the next chapter smooths the hurt, which it briefly does, only to kick you harder right after. Confrontational, parts that are way too close to reality, beautifully written.

I liked the first book, it was a page turner. This one is a mixed bag unfortunately. I feel it’s too heavily focused on character development, background stories, side stories and not enough on plot. Still trying to push through cause I want to see where it goes.

DNF. I tried. I liked the premise but the pacing and character arcs were not my cup of tea.
