i wish the notes he kept were sprinkled throughout the story

I really love a lot of what is in this book but Curto’s dialogue often feels a bit congested. It’s why it took me so long to get around to the second book. Characters tend to speak very technically and clear about their emotions and relationships in a way that just takes me out of it sometimes. i like the characters and storyline a lot but wish there was more communicated through actions than words at times.

thank god he asked about the cameras otherwise i would’ve read that whole scene anxious asf

wyatt and ilya are really carrying every gay hockey players’ mental health in their backs

the last half of this book is gonna bump it up to five stars for me

don’t let the cover fool you i have been reduced to tears for most of this book
