So far so captivating, after every detail she mentions where her mother is being a narcissist and taking advantage of her, she follows it with a reply from an innocent child’s point of view thinking “it’s because she wants what’s best for me”. As she grows she begins to understand that it’s simply not true, it was what’s best for her mother.
