I’m irritated ngl, 4 pages into the book and it sounds like dialogue from a 2025 podcast, if it’s set in 410 B.C. In Syracuse I’m not saying write it in Ancient Greek, but adjust the tone more, going “shit-brown eyes” and calling people “pricks” then starting the following sentence with “shall”😭😭
