The dramatic full cast adaptation is very good!

The format of this book is so interesting. No spoilers: but the “thing” that happens, we know about immediately, yet we don’t know anything about it, no details. But then, the whole book is leading up to it. 3/4 through and it’s still leading up to it. Hmmmmm

I tried reading this a few years ago and couldn’t get into it. For whatever reason, I’m enjoying it much more this time around!

Huh… I’m not quite sure what to make of this book yet. And “yet” feels weird to say given that I’m 3/4 of the way through. I’m curious to see how it ends, and there have certainly been some “oh my gosh, did that just happen!?” moments, but something about the way it’s written feels “uneven” The style throughout feels inconsistent and I find that a bit distracting.

Listening to the dramatic adaptation so refresh myself since my brain forgot what was happening while starting Onyx Storm 😂
