Chapter 14
Honestly I'm bored and I'm cutting my loses here. DNF.

Chapter 13
This book has problems. With it being a shorter book that is fast paced there is not enough time for world building, getting to know the MCs and side characters. I keep confusing people and not remembering who is related to whom.

Chapter 10
Honestly I am hating Darren to the point that I want her to be with Gideon just to spite him. Darren is angry at her when he is the one rejecting her. What is she supposed to beg him for affection. He can go and fuck himself, the prick.

Chapter 9
He is such a bastard and so weak. However, I'm liking Nova a lot in this chapter. I wish she had gotten the chance to freeze his dick off.

Chapter 6
Already hating the Hero. So what he is just going to give up on her because his alpha wants her for power? His wolf has pretty much said she is there mate. Fucking weak! I have no respect for him.

I find myself longing for the stories of characters instead. want to know Grihm's story for example.

This is not a 5 star book no matter how much I wanted it to be. The sole reason for that s Raeve the heroine. It doesn’t help that I dull don’t understand why she is self destructive because I guess plot and it all be revealed in it’s time but that doesn’t stop my feelings of frustration. I have reached a point where I no longer enjoy her chapters.

I hate them so much, especially Eleanor who can't see past her own biases and will sacrifice anyone for her cause. Poor Amon and Sela/Lizzie/Darcy. There better be revenge because my heart won't be able to take it otherwise.

Her sister's rapist/murderer (also murdered someone else) is stalking her, so what does do? Go off on her own to investigate and makes one of her Hs promise not to follow her. WTAF woman there is a rapist/killer coming for you staying with people is just common sense! TSTL!!!!

There is not much left of this book and they are finally about to have sex and I find myself not caring. It's sad because I really was into the premise of the story however I just find myself tempted to dnf. I'm mostly just annoyed now.

This book while enjoyable is sloooow. Up until this point my enjoyment of this book was far outweighed but my annoyance at how slow the story is going. However upon hitting 200 page I realised that they still have not had sex and my annoyance has tripled. It's made me realise that while the World Building is great not a lot is actually happening. I'm not a happy bunny right now.

Loving the reread of this book (getting ready to read Marcello) and Gio is nuts but in a good way. There is plot, the interactions between the MCs are great, and I just love Gio.

I’m now on page 237 out of 370 and not a lot has happened.
The hero and heroine don't even meet in person until page 130-ish? I just want the story to move forward. I've been reading this book for about 4 days now and I can't stop putting this book down. FFS whenever anything distracts me I stop reading which means it’s really not immersing me into the plot.

Does the author have a thing for people walking in and interupting her MCs when they are just about to have sex? I don't get it. It happened about 4-5 times in the last book. I really hope it doesn't keep happening in this one. If you really want to delay the sex, make a fire alarm go off? Anything else! It's just getting weird at this point.

Yet again they are starting to have sex and someone interrupts them. It's like the fourth time. This is just getting tedious now. Isn't he the second in command of the Bratva? Shouldn't he get pissed at this? Can't they lock a door?

Honestly so far I'm bored. Not a lot has happened and the book is just pretty repetitive. H is pursuing h, she is pretending to act horrified while is actually attracted to him and he just backs off.

He is supposed to have "unnatural tastes and proclivities" but it's so far just the above over and over again. Sigh. I really hope this book picks up because I really was looking forward to it.
