High Place is so suffocating and gloomy! It must feel like a nightmare to set foot there, especially with its strange inhabitants.

I LOVE BOOK PENELOPE, and for Colin I'll probably say a few things in my review later. BUT DEAR GOD it was a crime for netflix to change most of the plot for the adaptation because we don't see this much polin interaction in the series (& it was their season!) & I don't remember gasping when I was watching the carriage scene but let me tell you that I was lost for words when i read it because they were CRAZY for it!!

i've been wanting to read this book for so long and planned to read it on my birthday week and now it's happening! honestly i'm only at 19% and this book is so beautifully written! i can't wait to finish it.
