everything that's happened so far is pretty predictable but McFadden's writing really got me out of my reading slump lol. i hope to finish this book after i am done with the last 2 episodes of bridgerton season 4 and i really don't know what i'll be like after this season ends and i am not sorry 🤭

Weirdly McFadden always brings me out of my reading slump too! Maybe it's because her work is so easily digestible?

𝘉𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢 𝘸𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦: "𝘞𝘦𝘪𝘳𝘥𝘭𝘺 𝘔𝘤𝘍𝘢𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘭𝘶𝘮𝘱 𝘵𝘰𝘰! 𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘥𝘪𝘨𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦?"yeah definitely THAT! McFadden is the ultimate slump-buster! her writing is so fast-paced and it’s like she knows exactly how to make a story flow perfectly for a tired brain which is exactly what i need right now.
