Enjoying the story but not loving the audiobook narrator, Lacy Laurel

I’m just trying to figure out why Natasha and Josh are so hung up on loyalty, hurting one another and their future. They can’t be so stupid to really think they have any sort of future. This relationship is so uncomfy

Ok it has really started picking up and I am so interested in seeing this relationship play out, what will come of it and what kind of havoc that will be wreaked around it

My attention was captured at the end of chapter 1. This book is very intriguing already and I can’t wait to see what unfolds.

I feel like this book is slow. I don’t find myself thinking about it when I’m not reading it and I’m not eager to pick it back up. What’s keeping me going is that I’m so interested in seeing the shift from boyfriend’s dad to taboo lover. So far, I don’t even sense much tension, just one way looks & thoughts.

I think it was Rovy and he is working with Pip to stay close and informed. Just a prediction, nothing specific making me think

This the first romantic suspense I’ve ever read and I’m really enjoying it. The descriptive details are enough to make me physically uncomfortable and tense, feeling the emotions of Petra for myself. However, some scenes are so descriptive that I’m left thinking to myself, “get to the point,” like it is dragging on too much.

DNF - not bad but not different enough from book 1 to remain interested

There’s a discrepancy with how Claire and Emily meet and which girl was with their Miles brother first
