I just read THAT scene with the Kid and Trashcan Man in the hotel room and I cannot understand how Stephen King comes up with this shit.

Now, he’s one of the top 3 smartest characters im the book. Seeing detonators, guns, and ammo, and saying “I’m getting the fuck out of here,” is the best thing he could’ve possibly done at that time. Too bad Gaunt is a supernatural force.
