I DNF’d this book simply because my fucking brain could not process or fathom what was going on 😭 No bad review, because I genuinely don’t even know what I was reading—I was just confused. This is a temporary DNF and I’ll MOST DEFINITELY be back.

I temporarily DNF’d this book simply because I had just finished the interconnected series that introduced these characters, and I just couldn’t do it 😭 it lowkey confused me. I’ll be back though—it’s staying in my DNF/TBR until further notice.

You ever have people hype a book up so much that when you finally read it, you immediately get irritated because it was overhyped? Yeah… that was me with this book. Back then, I wanted to open a book and be pulled in immediately, and this just didn’t do that. I DNF’d it, and I don’t know if it’ll be back on my TBR anytime soon.

Okay, I enjoyed the first book back in 2023, and I wanted to finish the series, but I just couldn’t 😭 i wasn’t a 200+ page kind of girl back then, and I lowkey didn’t even like him in the first book LOL 🤣 but hey, people change. This is a temporary DNF. Hopefully I spin the block 😫
