I think I know who it is. I have a suspect in mind. We'll see if I'm right!

The shark descriptions, its attacks and consequences, are really well described. The terror and shark's POV is cool to read.

However!

There is a lot of time spent on Ellen, Brody and Hooper's relationship. At first it was fine, since it's introductory, but they've begun to add "romance" subplot (an affair) that is very uncomfortable to read about. The characters are very crass and feel unlikable.

I like Kai and Pae together, but not like this. Pretending.

They're just cheating. It would be wholesome and romantic if they weren't. Make it pinning or something, but they're both actively hiding it from Kitt and basically being together behind his back.

Kitt deserves better.

Okay so I forgot she had taken starling powers from Aurora so she technically hadn't used Oro's powers with Grim. I still don't like it much that she turns to physical intimacy for comfort and relief in these situations but well.

She's making me mad. She's just using Oro's powers (as if they were her own) to be with Grim. The audacity like what.
I get that she chose Grim and she wants Oro to hate her for "his own good". But if that were true she wouldn't use his powers so naturally, basically assuming he still loves her!!!! When she was "supposedly" trying to make him stop loving her.

They're so cute together. Finally a happy moment!
