Found this in the references of Reyes' work. I'm almost stunned by how harshly it rings true. There really is no such thing as an original feeling, and there is nothing new under the sun.

I like the prose of this leagues better than Mr Salary and idk why ...? technically they both have modern prose for modern settings but fsr this one really works for me. maybe i dont notice it as much bc it's a longer work and i don't prio the prose as much as in short stories?

i didn't know what this book was about when i started it but now I'm just constantly on the verge of tears every few pages

she JUST confirmed now that he was a student and that he was 22 and she was 34 when they met and first dated. this is so enjoyable peeling back the layers of her narration as well as peering into what she says and beyond it
