I honey don't know why I keep reading these books...

These are supposed to be 30 year olds... Riiiiiight

Over two weeks ago I started, I haven't picked it up again. I just fear it'll get worse before it gets better. Sympathizing with Eli, I can't understand Georgia's feelings and reactions toward his (basically) trauma response.

I thought that because I loved the Chestnut Springs series I was going to like this. I do not. It's taken me 3 days to get to this point, I just really don't want to pick up the book.
Billie is so annoying, it's frustrating how much I don't like her. And Vaughn is there, that's it, he exists. My favorite character is the horse, Doble Diablo - NOT DD, that's lame - and still, he likes Billie too much to be relatable.

She's being annoying... And not a good journalist by her own definition, and yet she's all proud about her suspicions and lack of doubt and proof to back them up👏🏻👏🏻

There's nothing I want more right now than to finish this book, like I like it so much I WANT to want to keep reading until I'm done. But I'm scared shitless it's going to break me

I'm bored. She's just mean for no reason. Also the "development" feels incredibly forced and they have ZERO chemistry.

The Shania Twain songs DESTROYED ME. And when he gets arrested? BAWLING, I was literally bawling my eyes out.

Finally. I like their communication, despite the holding back at the beginning, they really are honest and open with each other and I'm here for it. Love Nash. Love Lina.

Also, the swear jar thing, and Waylay's reactions are EVERYTHING. And, Amanda's commentary on their hashing out was AMAZING.

Pregnant? Really? It went from fine to fuck no in no time. It was already bsf with the whole puppy thing, but add the pregnancy with them being so young, and making a point of saying HOW you HE is... it's just so much lazy unnecessary drama.

I honestly don't know if I like Mia. Seb is amazing, and she just treated him badly knowingly.
I know we will not go through the pro baseball player thing... And I get it but I don't know that I like it (yet). Bex and Penny are following James and Cooper, does this mean Seb will follow Mia? I don't think the level of support is there for it to feel as right as it did with the other 2 couples
