I read the first book of the series when I was very young. I didn’t know back then that it was a series.
Finding out KU carried all of these has been the highlight of 2026.
I really like Kay’s writing style 👌

I read this yesterday (reading like a possessed woman before my KU subscription expires).
Ruby is 10/10.
Loved this story to bits 🤓

Que libro tan feo

Definitely, the novelty starts to wear out.
One thing I don’t like about this series in particular is the repeated insertion of equivalent earth customs/ items. It renders the whole concept of “being in a different planet” moot.
Not happy about this.
It really pulls me out of the narrative.

10/10. So far it’s been such a good read as well.

I canceled my kindle unlimited subscription so I’m racing to read all the books I’ve borrowed. I think I’ll finish this one today.

I had to pause this book for a really LONG time. All stories are complementary to the different trilogies. On my last update, while reading one id the stories, I realized I had walked into a spoiler, so I decided to put the book aside and return after I had finished Hero.
So I’m picking it up again ☺️
I’m almost done with all Drizzt books! Yay!

Yeah, like I said, it takes two or three books for this author to get things *really* going.
I’m truly liking this book.

It takes 2 or 3 books for this author to get things truly going (on any of her series).
The last books were ok. Entertaining, but never coming close to what I’m reading here. She feels so comfortable with the universe and the characters.
