Bueeeeno. Se supone, estaba leyendo este libro con mi marido. Long story short, tuvo un problema con sus lentes para leer y es hora que no los arregla. Asi, decidí retomarlo y ya terminarlo de una vez por todas.
No les voy a mentir. No me esta gustando, pero quiero ver si más adelante amarra. Siento que eTa traducción esta vieja y pues un tanto atropellada.
En fin, seguiré leyendo.

I finished this book (all annotated! Yay!).
It’s a true tour de force. Reading it was like witnessing a miracle happening in front of you.
The prose, the themes, the pain and the hope contained within.
It definitely hit me differently -as a grown up woman-, but since I was able to TRULY grasp Louis’ meaning (because I’m older), it hit me with full force.
I’ll def read it again.
10/10.

This book is SO good.
I’m really not sure how ppl can read this book and say it’s about pdf and whatnot.
Really, it makes me loose faith in humanity whenever I read such ignorant statements.
Anyways, I used to like this book a bit less than the rest of the trilogy, but as a full adult woman, it has def become my fav of the 3.
Almost done with this one!

I’ve been revisiting one of my fave books of all time.
This time around though, I wanted to annotate it! .
However, reading and annotating takes time. I enjoy annotating but it’s not a simple process. Even more so when I’m doing this whilst doing a lot of other stuff 😅

I’m hoping to wrap this book next week.

I really like the interaction and dialogue, but I think the author is leaning onto similar events already shown in her other books.
However, I'm enjoying this read a lot.
Night Thunder's bride is my absolute favorite from Ms Kay, so I'm kinda comparing (not gonna lie).

I was a bit surprised to read -all of the sudden- incorrect Spanish grammar. The first half, the Spanish is on point; in its form and slang.
Which is, to me, as a Spanish speaker, a plus as I get to know all the things that are being said by the characters.
Some of the Spanish used in the latter half is awkward and I had to think twice about the meaning of the phrases, which took me a way from the narrative.

Decent writing, lovely plot and good character development. I got recommended this by a friend and so far, it has given me all the good stuff ❤️

Started a bit slow. I’m at page 50 and the MC has finally entered the scene.
I’m worried we are in for a rushed ending. Let’s see…

The prose of this author = perfection.

Qué libro taaaaan bueno.
Con el personaje de Anna no sé qué hacer. Aunque entiendo su problema, me es antipática y me desespera un poco.
Vronsky es un Fuck-boy, y Levin un encanto.
Lo leí por primera vez cuando tenia 20 años y releerlo a otra edad (y como mujer casada ya con muchos años de matrimonio), me ha dado otra perspectiva.

Mmm the book started really strong. It has a beautiful premise and GREAT characters BUT it lacks the space to develop it/them
At some point the story leapt drastically to move the story forward, to “get there” and as a result, the story felt rushed and somewhat anticlimactic.
This book could use 150 extra pages.
But this is often the problem with romance books. Can’t be longer than 350 pages each.

Bones and stones (name of the short story)was redefining stereotypes in fantasy before the 2010’s
That is why I’ll always say new dnd players don’t know shit about what dnd is -or could be - if they gave themselves a chance to actually play.

Made good progress today. The writing is absolutely astounding and magical.
One of my favorite writers ever.

Her ML are 10/10 as well as the women leads.
The dialogue and the information she gives you about the tribes is priceless.

I packed this book by accident and had to look for it. I found it today and resumed reading it.
McCarthy is just ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’m hoping yo finish it next week.

I read the first book of the series when I was very young. I didn’t know back then that it was a series.
Finding out KU carried all of these has been the highlight of 2026.
I really like Kay’s writing style 👌

I read this yesterday (reading like a possessed woman before my KU subscription expires).
Ruby is 10/10.
Loved this story to bits 🤓

Que libro tan feo

Definitely, the novelty starts to wear out.
One thing I don’t like about this series in particular is the repeated insertion of equivalent earth customs/ items. It renders the whole concept of “being in a different planet” moot.
Not happy about this.
It really pulls me out of the narrative.
