Addies chapters are boring, I find myself skimming them, in a rush to get to Zades POV

Up until this point, the book has had no romance. Just dark, detailed rape scenes. Rape of the FMC, in detail. That, I also found unnecessary.
Addy isn’t saved until 300 pages in. I don’t consider rape “spice”. It’s sad that it was sold that way to the readers

Sydney, at this point I still don’t get why this character was needed. It feels like she was just added as an “let’s all hate the phsyco tall girl” trope, yes that’s a trope. Especially with most indie authors in the last 10 years.

Slut shamming the dragon females by the FMC ? Eew

The tittle got me, but they aren’t even friends. Let alone best friends

Halfway through the book and the hero has spent 97% of the time obsessing, discussing and thinking about how I’m love he is with the heroines best friend. Not very romantic. I think Lucy deserves better than this nitwit

She’s 23 ? Wasn’t Danbury 2 when she was born ? That would make her 28 since he was 30 in the last book.

Why ? Why do authors do this. I was excited to read this book after meeting the heroine in “the perfect spinster” now though ? Meh, she’s now just an assistant not part owner. She’s shrunk at least half a foot and wasn’t her mother dead ? Now her mothers in Europe?

The heroine being constantly described as “like a child” by the hero, is creeping me out. How is this attractive?

Almost ? TF? No almost about it. She got hurt 😡

She ain’t it ! If she is , they lied to you. Homegirl betrayed her sisters trust for her own selfish reasons. That does not make a pure heart

I normally don’t point these things out but it’s really starting to bother me. This author has probably never been with an intact/uncut man.
The foreskin shouldn’t be described as a separate piece of a man. It’s not separate. When he is aroused it pulls back to the shaft. Basically becoming part of the shaft. The way this scene is written, makes me think of an alien D with extra fleshy bits. 😖

I was mostly enjoying this book, until the author decided to insert her political beliefs. As if we didn’t hear enough bs in our daily lives. Now I have to read about it in the books I buy to escape the bs ? EAT THE RICH !
