Dense, but readable. Intro and first chapter just laying the foundation for the thesis that Marx’s political theory has human’s relationship with nature at its root and trying to show some theoretical continuation from as early as his 1844 Paris notebooks

I like this, I think. I feel like I've read similar socially awkward women protagonists in other contemporary Japanese lit fiction and tbh I don't know how I feel about the trend...

I’m halfway and very bored. I came to this book thinking it was more of the PKD I’ve read in Androids and Man in the High Castle and all that, but I think I landed in PKD’s rambling phase instead. Should’ve done some more due diligence beforehand

Wow. So far, so good. I couldn't put it down yesterday. So many interesting characters. And as terrible as the narrator is, I don't hate him yet.
