Im not sure about this one tbh. I loved The Troop but I wish these characters were older because being teens makes it harder to follow what's happening (sometimes sounds more like they're college students?)
There's also a lot of names and nicknames to keep track of. Some POVs are confusing and wordy.

You also cannot use a custom ringtone on an iPhone so every phone alert narration annoys me lol

I hope this author writers more extreme horror

As the partner of someone blind I really don't see why this book won awards, awards that weren't Yet Another Shitty Unoriginal Fall of Society Award

This book sucks

Lots to unpack in the major themes of the book so far. Surprised it's considered YA Fiction tbh.
