Restarted from the beginning on 8/1/26.

This is way too soon, I’m literally only 5 pages in but I already love this book :-)

Why are the covers like this?? The title and cover is different on Kindle Unlimited 🤨

DNF: honestly this was laughable In a bad way. I kept cringing at the dialog, and was not a fan of the constant use of “babygirl”. The main male character kept cursing every 2 seconds. Maybe I would have felt differently if I had read it opposed to listening to the audiobook… but the male character came off as creepy. I tried to get through this but I just can’t. Definitely not my kind of book.

Currently laughing at a scene from Queen of Shadows (4th book in ToG):

“You can call me Rowan. That’s all you need to know.” He cocked his head to the side, a predator assessing prey. “Thank you for the oil,” He added, “My skin was a little dry.”

It only makes sense if you’ve read the books, but such a great scene.
