seems more of an interview style book. i love hearing dolly’s voice. she mentioned she wanted to be remembered for her song writing and her imagination library 🥹

I am so stunned by James and his actions. The author’s girls are incredibly strong young ladies to handle such change and intensity (bc the pandemic). I think the girls responses and actions reflect who Belle is and how she showed herself and emotion to her children.

From chapter 1, I learned that James is an asshole and that’s this book is going to be an emotional trip
