Looking forward to a weekend of Amy Lane angst! I can't believe I am just getting around to this series.

This should have been called "Scooby and Shaggy Take on the Russian Mob".

This is such a mess! The plot is beyond ridiculous and the MCs act like 16 year old girls. Normally, I would hate this but it is just so SWEET and full of cotton candy fluffy fluffiness. I'll need some good Amy Lane angst after this one!

One of the worst books I have ever read. Worthless plot, one dimensional characters, ridiculous dialogue, and gobs of eye rolling (by me). This is the M/M equivalent of "Axel" or "REAL".

Kudos to the author for handling a horribly difficult subject matter with sensitivity and respect. I was riveted by those scenes and felt so much sympathy for Candace. I loved the slow build romance but somewhere along the way, there was too much filler. The BIG CONFLICT came too late in the story and there was no room to recover. Liked the final outcome but not the situations of the ending. 3 stars.

In the past week I have downed 3 Amy Lane's followed by a Coleen Hoover chaser. What the hell was I thinking?! I am a tightly wound ball of angst right now. Any recommendations for something light and refreshing?

That's it. I'm diving in and going for it. I bought this book almost a year ago but never read it knowing it would rip me apart. It's time.

A great big library and a huge collection of hardbacks gets me going every time! Loving this book and the characters.

I did not like the first two books in this series very much, however, I think this one is off to a promising start.

Picked this one back up today since I don't like to DNF any of my books. It was a lowly 1-star for a majority of the book but there have been one or two okay chapters so this will probably wind up being a 2-star read. I need a solid 4- or 5-star read in my future but they are so rare to come by.

I am so sick of reading about characters with long lists of "rules". Just live your (fictional) life, dammit! I am also finding the characters very one-dimensional and I am having trouble connecting with them on any level. Going to start skimming very soon...

...the flimsy curtain was yanked back and Nash came barreling through. His cornflower-blue eyes were on fire with a mixture of anger and concern.

This is from Rome's POV. He is intoxicated and is in the ER after getting beat up. He is also a tough Army guy and straight. Never in a million years a guy describe his best friend's eyes as "cornflower-blue". Yeesh!

I really hope this gets better.......must stop reading NA...

This book is wildly entertaining. Sort of like an M/M version of "Tangled" with more depth and a real plot. The secondary characters are terrific and well-defined (a la Kristen Ashley).

Nerds and haiku. I am in heaven.

I've started this one for real -- am a bit nervous about all of the negative reviews.

Goodbye, Gabriel and hello Dex!

Wow! Great conclusion to the series (parenthetically, it should be noted that I did not have high expectations for this book). I really liked how the focus was almost exclusively on Gabriel rather than Julia; he is much more compelling and it is more enlightening from his POV. Gabriel will always be my favorite because of his faults, bow ties, and occasional ass-like behavior. I'm going to miss him like crazy.
