I wish people would stop saying it’s dark romance just because there’s rape in it. The MMC literally rapes the FMC. Multiple times in the beginning of the book. That is not what should classify dark romance. Dub con and CNC is totally different. This was just straight up rape.

This was so bad. She goes from being kidnapped and used as a sex slave and then within 48 hours of escaping. She’s excited because she’s trying out for a job as a burlesque dancer. But then, right after that, she breaks down that she can’t move on with her life. And then is excited about being a burlesque dancer again. This was all just so confusing and not believable at all.

It’s like the author just opened up a thesaurus to try and come up with alternate words. I swear there was like over five names for the clitoris. And be being one of them. Just know. It’s so damn cheesy. And not in a good way.

It was going OK until Parker started talking about taking a shower with his daddy when he was younger. And talking about his daddy‘s dick. And how he couldn’t wait to take a shower with his son. The whole thing was creepy. It could’ve definitely been worded way better.

This book tore me apart and put me back together. Absolutely amazing.

Dnf. As much as i love dark romances i can't get passed the"daddy" kink

In love with this. Only complaint is they should of dragged out the beginning of relationship a bit. Jumped into it way to fast

Story is good however writing is horrible
