She really thought these people would blame her and expect her to keep mourning their son?? Did she never consider therapy? Being shocked at Andie’s confession of going to therapy is odd because it really never crossed your mind?

This was a five star read until this wedding portion of the book because Bennett is literally being the worst person ever. I don’t believe a grown woman can be afraid of introducing her new bf out of the memory of her old after 5 years. As if his parents would want to see her move on and happy? She thinks they would want her forever grieving???

“The more trash you accept in your life, the more you feel you deserve it” went crazy

Coming home from a day of work and not being sure if you even still exist was so real. Honestly so far this is so relatable when you lost your goal and are just in essentially “going through the motions of being alive”mode

I’m cackling w the Mamma Mia 2 lines. Also the line ab New York never caring about mental breakdowns is so real

I refuse to believe this author had an editor. Otherwise, they need to find a new career immediately because I fear that they can’t even speak or read the language, nevermind editing

This book could’ve been 200 pages shorter bc the author is over-explaining everything. It’s a completely inorganic info dump.
In 29 PGS there were 16 LINES of dialogue total - some being only a handful of words exchanged. The dialogue does not flow naturally & there is so much stilted narration btwn lines you forget what they said right before. It’s all TELL, no reader trust no weaving into storytelling nada
