I’m excited.

The mmc is genuinely scary. An actual psychopath. Someone who killed his mother and brother. Capable of breaking out of prison for a couple of hours to stalk her without anyone noticing. He’s obsessed once he meets her.

Still, very problematic. I just finished the scene in the shadow room and I don’t know what to think about that. It obviously wasn’t okay. It was straight up non con.

The tension is rising and I’m here for it.

It was going so well but now it doesn’t even feel like a romance book anymore. I DON‘T WANNA READ ABOUT YOU CUTTING PEOPLE INTO PIECES AND THEN WRAPPING UP YOUR GIRLS HANDS WITH SOMEONES INTESTINES WHILE YOU DO THE DEED. Ew.

Okay so the mmc is extremely unhinged. 💀
But at the same time… I didn’t expect anything else from a psychopath murderer.

I just really didn’t need to know how he gouged out someone’s eyeball or cut up a man into pieces with an ax. 😭
