I think that Timothy creates this memory moment where he wants a time machine to go back to when Marisol was Levi's doctor because, he feels that he has a connection with Marisol can tell her anything.

T's mom is faced with a tough question in paragraph 28. she is informed that there is a docter in Colombus Ohio that can "fix" Levi but Timothy wants to make sure everything is safe before he takes this risk. In chapters 28-31, I learned that Timothy cares about Levi more than anything else and he wants the best for him no matter what.

throughout marjanes story, she has many internal supports that change her thoughts. Without her internal supports, she would not have stuck up for what she believes in and stand up against the wrong.

I think that the way Marjane compares how she thinks people will think about her actions are different from the reality. She hears one person say that she did the right thing, to stick up and use her survival instinct but she doesn't realize that this was wrong.

Mary has an aha moment when she takes all of her antidepressants all at once. She wakes up 3 days later and realizes that she should have died but she thinks that it is a sign that she should live.

I think that the reason that Maryj didn't tell her parents or anyone about her experience in Australia is because the four years that she lived there really changed her mindset and she didn't want to bring anything back.

i think that when maryj compares herself before she left for australia and when she got home, she learns a lot about her self. she learns that she took everything she had before for granted and she really changes herself.

there was an again and again moment where Maryj gets expelled from her new school. What makes this an again and again is she stands up to the officials of her school because she wants to spread her opinion.

I think that Maryj learning german is going to be something that she needs to learn before her parents meet her in 6 months because i think her parents expect a lot from her

An again and again occurred when Maryj town started getting bomb, everyone was leaving to avoid the bombing but Maryj was determined to stay at the town. I think she does this and rebells against the girls that are enforcing the veils because she wants to make a change

Rooney describes herself like shes in a dream, her standing over her mom, screaming at her, and shaking her shoulders saying "what the hell is wrong with you"--"how could you do this"I think shes describes it as a dream because even though her mom has put her through a lot of trouble, she cannot treat her mom the way she wants to.

Marjane celebrates the "win" for Iran even though she describes Iranian losses as "heavy" I notice that Marjanes mood shifts when she learns that although Iran "won" this bombing lots of Iranian pilots never came back, she realizes that this may have not been the win she thinks it is.

A social issue that is often brought up in Come November is Roony's mom believes that the new world is real and that there is a new place for human to habitat. The problem is, Roony's mom is starving her kids, and she doesnt care about what they believe in.
