Enjoying the first book of the Slow Horses series.
Interesting how the author uses Roddy Ho to do the initial character introductions. Roddy makes it his business to ferret out secrets of his compadres’ humiliation & disgrace that lead to their assignment to the MI-5 Slough House. Love the dark humor.

This is my 1st Mick Herron book of the Slow Horses series. As I’m being introduced to Slough House and its dilapidated circumstances filled with the humiliated & disgraced MI-5 agents, I find it interesting that the initial introduction is done via the eyes of Roddy Ho who has made it his business to ferret out the secrets of his fellow compadres to explain why they were sent to Slough House.

I’ve finished the first of 2 novellas & now working on the second.

Just got started. So far so good. The author has done a good job of setting up the period atmosphere and introducing Trevor Lawson to the readers and learn about his motivations. We’re beginning to learn about the abilities of vampires in this world as well as vampires who have not fully transitioned into the creatures of the night.

This new Pickett story ensnared my interest from the first page! CJ Box’s stories have always been top tier writing, and this book only goes to show that his character crafting is only getting better!

Excited to begin reading my first Joe Reacher novel!

Excellent crime procedural - various crimes. Vandalism, insurance fraud, assasination/murder & serial murders.

Picked up this book on the release date Stopped what I was reading in order to read Ironwood without delay. Very Excited!

Suspense is building!

Very impressed with the characterization of Wolfgang Templeton - physically, mentally, his demeanor and words.
