Mark Garcia is finished with Grace for the Afflicted: A Clinical and Biblical Perspective on Mental Illness by Matthew S. Stanford (2008-10-18)
I have really enjoyed this book when it comes to given a thorough explanation of the workings of mental illness all the while staying true to the Scriptures.

Mark Garcia is on page 137 of 176 of Outgrowing the Ingrown Church
The book has done an excellent job highlighting the realities of a church void of growth and life in manner that the Bible describes it. This past weeks chapter was on preaching and it’s essential role for moving the church outwardly.

The first chapter has explored the idea behind emotion and it’s importance to ethics and the psychological principles.
There are 3 revolutions in relation to this proposal:
-The argument behind Ethics and them having any source of standard or normality.
-Ethics having virtue substance which must mean they are psychological.
-psychological aspects determining virtues by way of emotions. What is the source of them?
