I really hope this book picks up.. so far its not even a cheesy smut book, its a MFC who I absolutely can not stand, whos entire personality is "I'm the epitome of sadness and depression. my sister was my personality and she's dead." and the MMC who isn't nearly as boring on his POV's but there is literally NOTHING happening apart from Lynx brooding and Sable whining about her shitty existence.

So is she going mad?

Oh. My. God. I told everyone The Ritual was like 80% sex 20% storyline. I was wrong. THIS is so far 90% sex - but honetly I'm not mad at it. Sin may be what i'm missing out of life.

This is reminding me of Until Dawn ( the game ). Even down to one of the characters being a bitch nobody really cares about. Ania was you gaming when you wrote this??

I know this is a slow burn but MY GOD WHEN DOES IT PICK UP! I am falling asleep every time i read this which means its taken 10x's longer than normal to finish this book. I cant DNF - SEND HELP

So far - super into the story. I live for apocalypse type books HOWEVER Casey's immaturity towards Blake is starting to pull me away from enjoying the book. He was a mean bully in HS.. we get it but her behavior is very immature for a grown woman & something that happened over a decade ago. I get trauma but this is ridiculous.
