God both Kit and Ty are being about as subtle as a brick and yet NEITHER of them is picking up what the other is putting down. Truly Idiot #1 and Idiot #2. I love them.

AHSBSJSJDJDNSND IVE BEEN WAITING TEN YEARS FKR THIS BOOK!! THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE IT OUT AT THE STORE YET THATS HOW EXCITED I WAS!! I CANNOT BE NORMAL ABOIT THIS!! But also, if the elections don’t get well tonight (Talarico pls 🙏🏼) at least I have a reason to get up tomorrow

My copy says “uncorrected bound proof, not for re-sale” on it so thanks to whoever resold this loool. I’ve been trying to read this book forever and am hoping that putting it on here will encourage me to do so. But. It’s “perfect for fans of The Raven Cycle” claim is messing with me bc that’s my favorite series and such a high bar why would they do this to me specifically 😭

JUST when I thought I was gonna get thru a AJW book without a mistake in it. Alas,

woooooooow who would’ve everrrrr guessed that twist I stg there better be something else

I’m boredddddd

It’s finally release day!!! Kinda nervous bc of some of the early reviews, but it’s definitely hitting already. Let’s see if I stay up all night reading this in one sitting like I did the last book 😭😭

Love a gay sports story. Also!!! Perfect for the World Series rn (Rays pls win a game I stg)

Love an Elizabeth Acevedo book. Also!! She's gonna be in Austin next month so I'm glad I was able to grab this before then.

WHAT SCHOOL IN TEXAS DOESN’T START UNTIL SEPTEMBER???? WE START IN AUGUST!! I even looked up the school calendar for Argyle in 2022 (when this book takes place) and they started AUGUST 11!!!!!

WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP OPENING WINDOWS?? IT’S JULY IN TEXAS??? I DON’T CARE THAT IT’S IN THE MORNING IT IS STILL 85+ DEGREES. IT’S LITERALLY OCTOBER RN AND THERE’S ONLY BEEN LIKE 3 DAYS THIS MONTH WHERE OPENING A WINDOW WAS A FEASIBLE OPTION. STOP FUCKING WITH ME THIS BOOK TAKES PLACE 30 MINUTES AWAY FROM WHERE I LIVE

Genuinely mad that I spent money on this instead of waiting 19 more weeks at the library just bc the author’s gonna be in Austin next month

Not liking this as much as the last Sarah Damoff book… also, it always trips me up that these books take place in North Texas like stop jump scaring me with places I know 😭😭

I don't usually read middle grade books, but I saw this one on the website for the Texas Book Festival next month and had to pick it up. I'm loving it so far!!

My first Agatha Christie book! This one was recommended to me by a friend. I'm loving it so far!!

Pls let this book end

I thought I’d be liking this more. I thought this was about feminism???

Dearie being held at knife-point by the killer and just wishing that he could hit his weed vape pen to help him cope GOD he is just like me

Oh I am eating this up. I’ve had this on my shelf for YEARS and I’m barely getting around to it I hate myself

God I'm loving this

Fascinating

Not really sure if this is for me yet, but Alba hissing when she touched holy water is so me loooool

someone put me out of my misery

This book is full of a lot of stupid things, but the fact that Rio leaves the keys to AN ESCALADE IN THE CAR when they live in EAST LA might just take the cake

This book is actually pissing me off so much like it’s not even funny anymore

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month!! I finally picked this book up today and already have several problems with it!!!

Saving the last two chapters for tomorrow!! This book is insane!!

Yeah. This page right here is when this book tipped over to my Book of the Year. It was leaning that way for a long time but this solidified it.

Love Crane. But also, how many books can I read at the same time jesus christ

My brother got me this book for my birthday :) I’m obsessed w it so far! The twist already shocked me so I’m in for it I’m sure
