This book is so beautiful.

Dangggg this writer knows what he's doing.

This has started to pace up and gave me all the fun!

It starts to get easier.... But honestly this book is kinda depressing if you're into traveling.

Found this for Rp20.000 only at a book bazaar and I couldn't help myself.

Almost DNF for multiple times because it feels like reading endless feature writings.

The plot-twist... I didn't see it coming hahahahah.

The thing about classics is that I can't read it in my usual speed.

So the time I read famous work of the Father of Science Fiction coincidences with Goodreads' SciFi week. Hmmmm.

Gotta admit I'm crying right now. This book is SHOULD'VE been about Jem and Will's friendship! Bro before hoe, you two!

Seriously, this book is potentially good has it focused on Jem and Will's friendship (beside the demon-slaying job, ofc) instead of a bunch of lovesick fools with their own ship on their lap.

I'm not even halfway there but I've already muttered, "Shut up, Tessa," at least 21 times now. Brother thinks I'm nuts.

I am astonished by Tessa's ability to turn every topics the group talk about on her. Will is also self-centered, but at least he gets the job done, doesn't play martyr or do excessive self-pity.

Tessa on Brother Enoch, who tries to cure her dying brother:

"It hardly seems worth living a long time if you're going to look like that."

You superficial, judgemental, ungrateful, nagging witch.

"Mengapa benda mati disebut sesuatu yang mati? Terkadang mereka lebih 'hidup' dan lebih jujur memberikan saksi."

So far so good. So far so deep. So far not much tears.
