Chapters 44 and 45🥵🥵🥵🥵

This is definitely taking longer than I’d like. I can’t decide if I want to DNF it or not. It feels like the first book had a good pace but the 2nd and 3rd are very slow with nothing to really draw you in. We shall see what happens

My favorite thing about second books is the direct drop into the action and plot line. I don’t have to get through world building

if I’ve learned anything…it’s that the next time I pick up this book, I WILL NOT BE PUTTING IT DOWN UNTIL I FINISH IT

It’s disrespectful that it’s 11pm and I’m forcing myself to put the book down because I can’t hold my eyes open with how tired I am. Because all I want to do is read it.

Loving this story. But SLOW BURN INDEED.

Ok I’m very invested. And I wish I had this book as a teenager bc the questioning sexuality parts hits so hard😭😭

I feel like I’m moving slowly through this but maybe that’s also ok. I’ve flown through some books recently to the point I couldn’t tell you what I read. So far I like where this is going though! Only complaint is the girl’s age (16) bc I just don’t want to read about teenagers. Hope this book proves me wrong 🙏🏼

Not really sure where the plot is but the…🌶️scenes🌶️…are decent enough
