I think I spend more time on GR trying to choose what to read than actually reading 🙄

I'm considering DNFing as this adds nothing to the two previous books. It's more a dark action/intrigue plot than a romance and it's really a repeat of the second book.

I'll try to read a bit more.

Third person POV with no separation between one and the other MCs POV is killing me! WHY would someone write like this?! Same paragraph, two povs and all in the third person.

Notes for review: After DNFing 4 books in a row, I was getting scared to start a new one. I thought this one - being another kindle freebie - was gonna be the one that sent me to a certain and irrecoverable reading slump.

It wasn't! Is it a masterpiece? Far from it. But it's entertaining.

You know the blurb? It still hasn't happened!!!!

120 pages in and nothing happened!!! Nothing: she arrived at this town and started her job and saw 3 alphas once. Nothing more, I've seen in detail how someone opens the door, then passes, how many steps it took and how they sounded! And I've also read an instruction book of all the processes of working on a shop.

I'm having too much trouble finishing this...
As someone in the reviews said, it's incredible how smart stupid people think they are.
And this book is full of them.

The blurb is misleading.
I'm bored and not happy that she is dating someone else.

Unlike everyone else, I think this book needs serious editing. It goes on and on about irrelevant details. The book should be reduced by a third at least to keep the ball rolling.

And now he treats her less than a cheap whore. Given the circumstances, he says "Get on your knees"?!!? I'd chop his dick off!!!

They have history, she hates him to death. But that doesn't stop her from letting him finger her.
This alone is enough for me to DNF.
I'll skim now..

At 6% I already guessed the big secret to be revealed, most certainly, at the lasts chapters.
At 10% the repetition is already here.
