i adore everything and anything Abby Jimenez.

i’m not going to lie friends… i’m struggling so badly with this book. i’m so sad and anxious ‘cause i know the bad things that happen in between already from Shannon’s books. seeing it all now from these POVs is just making my little heart hurt way more than i thought.

f*ck Teddy forever.

i just didn’t see that coming, regardless of being mentioned from the very beginning. i adore being oblivious to my books and i adore never feeling the need to try to guess what happens, ‘cause the scream i just let out would’ve gotten me SO in trouble at work, but a very good thing is that listened to the revelation while running a flight of stairs… on my own. JEEZ.

i don’t know how to feel. i’m pissed off.

i’m not sure if this is the context for this book yet, but i simply adore reading how a main character goes insane. regardless of how this book ends, i would love to read a book with the same plot but worse again.

i feel unhappy overall, which should always translate to “well written”, as this author has the greatest superpower to make one feel despair and hopelessness very greatly.

the series, as a whole, makes me feel so hopeless. all the tragedy and the terrible things that happen just break my heart over and over again. specially Joey, and i’m not even into the ugly that i know is coming.

took me 200 days to pick the series back up. the first 2 books were too emotionally damaging for me and i needed a few days to recover from book 1 to book 2… i feel like im not quite ready for book 3, Joey’s story, but i’m okay enough to attempt to move on.

here we go…

i don’t know what it is but this book has made me cry and yearn and sob and laugh so loudly, so proudly. i don’t even remember why i picked this up, but im so at awe of every single one of these characters. Bade, Matilda, Vincent. i’m so enjoining myself here, im taking my sweet time.

no matter what i do, i’ve been thinking of this book’s setting day and night and even when im busy doing other things or at work. i’m enjoining myself with this one.

someone told me a spoiler about this book, but i’m absolutely enjoying the start of this journey anyways.

this is one of those books i enjoy so much— tempted to read as slow and throughly as i possibly can.

not my usual but i’m liking the way it’s written very much.

they finally kissed !!! ugh. rio is such a gentleman.

i don’t like anything about this book

reading this one because i want to watch it later on prime video but this book is really not good at all.

i didn’t know i could love Rio anymore than i already do, but i do. so much. sweetest boy ever.

i’m scared ‘cause i would go to battle for Rio, but i’m ready for this beautiful story to make me cry.

also last book in the series before In Her Own League…
