A very interesting perspective thus far. So repetitive, though. To the point that I’ve genuinely wondered, three separate times, that I accidentally bumped my kindle and am actually reading the previous page.

I find myself cringing frequently while reading this, and I’m only up to Chapter 3. Adams makes several incredibly well-articulated points about society’s relationship with meat and womanhood and how they intersect. That said, she seems dead-set on dragging humanity down to the level of animals rather than elevating animals to the level of humans (and yes, there’s a very big difference).

Oh my god this is a phenomenal book that is exhausting every fiber of my being.

I’ve never read something that made me feel quite this stupid. I’m taking a quick break from this one.
