been a while…

i forgot how sad this is :((

stopped reading this at the start of the year. it was just really slow for me and hard to get into

i put this down a while ago. i was really enjoying it but i was in a reading slump

guess if the book was written by a man impossible challenge 😱

i love the way he writes. i’ve missed being captivated my a book

hearing and reading the reviews i came into this book with high expectations. the writing is beautiful and though it is relatable, it hasn’t really moved me yet

i’d always pick this up, read a few chapters, become enthralled with its prose, only to put it down bc i’d get too busy, let time pass, pick it back up, reread the chapters, admire the writing, get busy, let time pass and the cycle would continue…

but the writing is just too beautiful to sacrifice when things get busy, so i will finish it this time

i’m going to put this book aside for now bc smaller length books may be better to get me out of my reading slump 😭

started reading this despite not having touched the other books i’m currently reading :P
