One of the most interesting books I’ve listened to this year so far

I respected the author’s viewpoint and suggestions, but felt like sections were bloated and too long.

Haunting and phenomenal. I wasn’t able to put this book down— I’m not normally a fan of creepy or dark stories, but have been recommended this by so many people that I pushed through. I’ll be thinking about this book for a while.

A super heavy read, but I learned a LOT. My only issue is that the author presents some modern political issues as 100% race motivated that I think may be more complex issues (he mentioned that he was zeroing in during the intro so maybe not a flaw) Many suggestions were also very political, but presented as if you “disagree” you are siding with racism.

Overall though, a very worthwhile read!!
