There is something beautiful about the language in this book. Woodrell's descriptions are exquisite; I can feel the coldness and the ache that accompanies such coldness as I read each sentence. The characters are complex and their situations are heart-rending and justifiable. I'm entranced.

His wit and keen understanding of the world make him a resounding voice in the field of science, but also in academic circles where philosophers, thinkers, and writers unite to form a well-crafted view of the world and universe. He has a beautiful mind.

Fascinating. The mystery and intrigue have me in rapt attention. Part of it even freaked me out a bit, and I checked to make sure no one was lurking in my apartment.

Quite a clever and fascinating book. We all search for meaning, whether it be intrinsic or extrinsic. The characters, motivations, and back stories are compelling and unique. Worth reading.
