I realllly want to love this, but so far there is nothing happening and its so hard to get through.

I dont remember ths previous books in this series being THIS hard to get through. There is SO much fluff!!! The writing style is so weird like a completely different person wrote it.

Why in the world was Lola mentioned twice and now we don’t know why? There’s not much left to figure out….

This series is dragging by. I liked the idea of Joey’s story but it just seems like too much.

The writing is extremely juvenile. Also? There are so many sentences that go on and on and on where you can barely understand what’s happening. The settings also aren’t very well laid out.

The number of times “lay down my life for her” and “slides the knife across her neck from one side to the other in a swift motion” has been used is extremely annoying. It’s extremely repetitive. The story line has been very skippy and jumbled. Also, most of the scenes are as if they were pulled right from a discussion board talking about readers favorite book scenes, trying to fit as many as possible.

I wanna DNF this so bad, but I wanna know what happens. There’s so much fluff that it’s driving me insane. I think this book should’ve ended already, and over half of it is meaningless paragraphs describing meaningless settings.🤬

This book is seriously dragging. There’s a million details about nothing. Literally, two paragraphs to describe a dining room…

So Tyler becomes the president. I swore Tyler was Preston, but looking at the flash backs how can Tyler be Preston?

This chapter feels sudden. Like there’s holes in the story again.

Jeeeeez, finally. I was afraid I’d have to see her start a new life with some random new character.

Okay but wait. We also never learn who tattooed her. Was it Dominic? I thought Tobias but when she went to the garage it seemed like Dominic but then in her room it didn’t seem like him. It’s got to be Tobias. This better not be a loose thread.

Her going to talk to Dominic gets me everytime 😭

Okay now this is a scene that can contribute to understanding that Tobias and her were in love. Kinda odd to use it as a memory

No one was joking when they said this book will shatter you. I was hoping for a miracle.

Okay, now she’s “in Love” with Tobias but like there was no lead up to this. They hated each other but the her being in love with him is too sudden.

I’m 25 pages in and already crying. The internet was not joking when they said you’d cry your eyes out.
