I very much enjoyed this story of a child actress, who was in a car accident that killed her mother,and suffered a traumatic brain injury. Her "I want to live my life with no trappings"aunt takes her in ,and the long road back is a struggle.

Interesting story about the private lives of four American physicians chosen to go to France for four weeks to learn how emergencies are handled over there. And then the four French physicians come to San Francisco for training. Their love bed become intertwined as they live through a school bombing and other exciting experiences. I think this was the first book by Brenda Novak that I had read. It was a charming tale of two people who meet up, and think they'll never see each other again, but circumstances fall into place, and in the end they will live happily ever after. Lots of intrigue,and insight into a famous athlete's life. Fun read.
